11. Parasitic electromagnetic forces (EMK)

During the production of sensor resistances different materials are interconnected:

  • Platinum,
  • Platinum-corings,
  • Gold,
  • Gold-corings,
  • solder metals etc.

All combinations of these metals represent practically a thermocouple, which brings a thermo voltage into the measuring circle which can distort the measurement result. The same problem is to be taken into account not only with the sensor resistances but also with the measurement inserts.
