Already in the first year after commissioning, we can draw a positive conclusion.
The GÜNTHER PV system, which was put into operation in August 2024, achieved a total production of 178,728 kWh for the 2025 calendar year. Despite below-average sunshine hours in autumn and winter, a self-sufficiency rate of 52% was achieved.
Particularly noteworthy is the performance in June: the system reached a self-sufficiency rate of 77% with a self-consumption rate of only 37%. The remaining difference of 23% is primarily due to nighttime demand and the early morning hours. To close this supply gap, we are now investing in an additional commercial storage system. The goal is to increase the self-sufficiency rate to over 95% during the summer months.
