Quality Management
The quality management (QM) system at GÜNTHER Temperatur Messtechnik essentially encompasses the planning, execution, assurance, review, and improvement of processes to consistently ensure the quality of our temperature sensors.
Our QM system monitors the entire value chain within our company — from the delivery of raw materials, through the development and production of our sensors, to the shipment of the finished product.
The Fundamental Principles of Our Quality Management
Compliance with Standards:
- ISO 9001:2015 certification
- Certified according to Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) for explosion-proof sensors
- DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory
- AEO-C certified

Customer Orientation:
Ensuring customer requirements and expectations is a central component of our QM system. This includes services such as:
- Individual on-site customer consultation
- On-site measurement services
- Support for all questions regarding our temperature sensors
- Training
- Calibration in our in-house DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory
- Production of custom-made solutions and small series
- Repair and analysis of used sensors
Product and Process Quality
Modern production facilities and motivated employees contribute to high quality standards. To deliver temperature sensors of the highest quality, GÜNTHER Temperature Measurement Technology places special emphasis on the following points:
- Incoming goods inspection
- Storage management
- Adherence to all specified production steps
- Calibration in accredited and non-accredited sectors
- Test field (final inspection for functionality, dimensional accuracy, etc.)
- Outgoing goods (packaging and shipping)
Conclusion
Our quality management is a comprehensive approach designed to ensure that all temperature sensors manufactured by GÜNTHER meet customer requirements as well as applicable standards. This is achieved through regular monitoring, calibration, adherence to quality standards, and a strong focus on customer needs.

The objective of our quality policy is not limited to detecting and eliminating defective products. Rather, our quality-oriented approach ensures that errors are prevented from occurring in the first place.
To achieve these quality objectives and to maintain and strengthen our reputation and success, the management defines its quality policy through the Quality Management (QM) manual.
- Our QM department is tasked by management with further developing the QM system, maintaining the current QM manual, and keeping it up to date.
- The QM system is monitored by quality officers through regular internal quality audits to ensure its effectiveness.
- The QM department has organizational independence to carry out this responsibility.
- The quality management function has both the right and the obligation to eliminate or segregate defective products and to prevent their delivery.
- In performing these duties, the QM department reports directly to management.
