Product characteristics

Application

Primarily for temperature measurement in molten metals and salt baths.

Temperature range

Up to +1300°C

Advantages

  • Thanks to the angled design, the connection head is not positioned directly above the medium and is therefore not exposed to high temperatures and aggressive fumes.
  • Secure mounting and longer service life of the connection head
  • Cost-effective alternative to product group 30-WTE.

Thermocouples / mineral-insulated inserts

  • Base-metal thermocouples (types K, J, N)
  • Single or double configuration possible
  • The thermoelectric voltages and tolerance limits of our thermocouples and mineral-insulated inserts comply with DIN EN 60584

Design

  • Various connection heads available
  • Protection tube made of high-quality steel (stainless steel / heat-resistant steels) or pure iron
  • Protection tube bent from a single piece or with support tube and immersion tube welded together

Mounting / process connection

Usually via customer-provided mounting fixtures.

Special features

Customized special geometries available (e.g. U-shape, S-shape, etc.)
