Application

General temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media (air, steam, water, oil, etc.) at high flow velocities and/or high pressures

Temperature range

Up to +450°C

Advantages

  • Special weld-in sleeves suitable for pressures up to 700 bar
  • Guideline values for load capacity can be taken from the diagrams of DIN 43772

Sheathed measuring insert

  • Thermocouples type K, J, N
  • Sheath materials 2.4816, 1.4571, 1.4841
  • Single and double configurations available
  • Various sheath diameters from 2.0 to 6.0 mm available
  • Thermoelectric voltages and tolerances of the thermocouples comply with DIN EN 60584

Design / Construction

  • Various terminal heads available
  • The fittings of this assembly are equipped with replaceable sheathed measuring inserts
  • Extension necks according to DIN 43767 made of stainless steel
  • Weld-in protective tubes made of solid material, according to DIN 43772 Form 4 (other forms also available as an option)

Mounting / Process connection

  • Mostly welded leak-tight directly into the pipeline or vessel
  • Optional additional blind flange according to DIN EN 1092-1 (various sizes available)
