Heat tre­at­ment

For deca­des, GÜNTHER Tem­pe­ra­tur­mess­tech­nik has been inten­si­ve­ly tack­ling the chal­lenges of tem­pe­ra­tu­re mea­su­re­ment in heat tre­at­ment, making it one of the lea­ding Ger­man manu­fac­tu­r­ers of tem­pe­ra­tu­re sen­sors for heat tre­at­ment plants.

Tem­pe­ra­tu­re con­trol is cru­cial in heat tre­at­ment pro­ces­ses such as har­dening, tem­pe­ring, anne­al­ing, or solu­ti­on anne­al­ing, as it direct­ly influen­ces the resul­ting micros­truc­tu­re and, con­se­quent­ly, the mecha­ni­cal pro­per­ties.
In par­ti­cu­lar, the relia­bi­li­ty of the tem­pe­ra­tu­re sen­sors used plays a decisi­ve role in heat tre­at­ment.

For mea­su­re­ments in vacu­um fur­naces, we pro­du­ce vacu­um-tight ther­mo­cou­ples, who­se design and ope­ra­tio­nal pro­per­ties are pre­cis­e­ly tail­o­red to the requi­re­ments of the spe­ci­fic fur­nace and the pro­ces­ses car­ri­ed out within it. Upon request, our ther­mo­cou­ples can be sup­pli­ed with a test port for easy and cost-effec­ti­ve exe­cu­ti­on of SAT mea­su­re­ments during ongo­ing ope­ra­ti­on.

In our in-house cali­bra­ti­on labo­ra­to­ry, which meets the strict requi­re­ments of the Ger­man Accre­di­ta­ti­on Body (DAkkS) and is accor­din­gly accre­di­ted, we per­form pre­cise and traceable cali­bra­ti­ons of tem­pe­ra­tu­re sen­sors. The­se DAkkS cali­bra­ti­ons ensu­re the hig­hest mea­su­re­ment relia­bi­li­ty and inter­na­tio­nal reco­gni­ti­on of the mea­su­re­ment results for your enti­re mea­su­re­ment tech­no­lo­gy.

Espe­ci­al­ly in the heat tre­at­ment of com­pon­ents for the auto­mo­ti­ve or aero­space indus­try, com­pli­ance with AMS 2750 or CQI-9 is some­ti­mes man­da­to­ry.

To veri­fy the accu­ra­cy of the mea­su­re­ment sys­tem and the uni­for­mi­ty of tem­pe­ra­tu­re within the fur­nace, our on-site ser­vice per­forms both SAT (Sys­tem Accu­ra­cy Test) and TUS (Tem­pe­ra­tu­re Uni­for­mi­ty Sur­vey) mea­su­re­ments.
