This is what GÜNTHER Temperaturmesstechnik, based in Schwaig near Nuremberg, stands for, along with its subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Poland, and Romania.
We have been manufacturing high-quality temperature sensors for virtually all industrial sectors since 1968. Our range extends from intricate sensors for high-tech applications to complex multipoint thermocouples for large-scale industrial plants. Our portfolio also features explosion-proof ATEX sensors and a wide variety of custom designs.
As a quality-driven manufacturer, we focus on providing personal and tailored consultation. Every single sensor from our five production facilities is designed precisely for its specific future operating environment and is manufactured from the most suitable materials. This ensures our sensors achieve the best possible combination of measurement accuracy and service life.
Furthermore, our in-house calibration laboratories and on-site service guarantee reliable compliance with all potentially required industry standards, such as CQI-9, AMS2750, etc.

History
2024
Commissioning of the new photovoltaic system on the roof of the production hall in Schwaig.

Relocation of the subsidiary “GUENTHER Polska” to a modern new building with office and production spaces, as well as its own calibration laboratory.

2018 - Celebrating 50 Years of Success
We celebrated half a century of successful company history with a large barbecue and a wide range of international guests.
2013
With the founding of the subsidiary “GUENTHER Tehnica Măsurării” in Arad, Romania, the GÜNTHER Group gains its fifth production site.
2011
With the inauguration of the new building featuring office, production, and storage spaces, the next step toward a successful future has been taken.
2008
Founding of the subsidiary “GUENTHER Polska” in Długołęka (near Wrocław), Poland.
2004
Founding of the subsidiary “LANGKAMP TECHNOLOGY” in Wijk bij Duurstede, Netherlands.

Just three years later, in 2005, the new production building was constructed.
1997
Certification of the company according to ISO 9001.
First expansion of the original company building.
1995
Commissioning of the calibration laboratory with the first calibration furnace “Heraeus Sensor” for a temperature range up to 1200 °C.
1986 / 1988
Acquisition of the first 2,200 m² of land and construction of a production facility with administrative offices on Bauhofstraße in Schwaig.
In 1988, the company was renamed to its current name, “GÜNTHER GmbH Temperaturmesstechnik.”
1968 / 1978
Founding of “Paul Günther Temperaturfühlerbau” by the company founder Paul Günther.
Ten years later, in 1978, the company was incorporated as a GmbH under the name “Paul Günther Temperaturfühlerbau”.

Since its foundation in 1968, GÜNTHER Temperaturmesstechnik has developed into a globally active company. Our production sites mesh perfectly, guaranteeing maximum reliability and seamless supply capability.
A key to our success is the regular exchange between our locations in order to continuously develop our expertise. A continuous transfer of know-how also takes place between our calibration laboratories at the headquarters in Schwaig and at GUENTHER Polska in Wroclaw.
